Organized two virtual events with Liveto in 2020
Event production students are mainly located in Porvoo campus and the school has excellent ground for organizing events. Events by Haaga-Helia is a part of LAB8, students service experience laboratory. Haaga-Helia organizes events for customers inside and outside the school, either in the school’s or customer’s environment.
First year students work mainly among the school’s own events like student parties, and students on upper grades work on real customers events for the whole production. Haaga-Helia’s event production consist of students and school’s experts and they offer education, event services, research information and service design to partners and companies.
Change in organizing events
In the beginning of fall semester 2020 we needed to ponder where we would find a suitable partner with a platform meeting our needs, Birkle states. One feature Haaga-Helia was looking from the platform was a smooth ”all-in-one” customer path, so the customer experience would be the best possible. Cooperation and goals started to form as one with Liveto and Birkle thanks Liveto for open, honest and genuine conversation in negotiations and customer oriented attitude that took their hopes and needs in consideration while organizing the event.
Birkle tells, that they now have a working concept in event production which enables to produce all kind of events, even in these exceptional times. Student production teams has their own studio for event production and Liveto’s virtual event platform acts as the event place. Birkle thinks it’s very valuable that the students get to familiarize themselves to worklife tools during studies, like virtual event platform.
Cooperation with Liveto
Students tell that Liveto’s virtual event platform is rather easy to use and cooperation and communication has gone smoothly. The students also tell that they have received good feedback from the participants concerning the event.
Birkle highlights that event organizers can be easily overwhelmed about how demanding virtual events can be and the amount of film technique that is needed. She thanks Liveto’s Customer Success Manager who guided them how to operate to make the event successful.
”A really warm recommendation of Liveto!” – Monica Birkle, Haaga-Helia
Liveto has greatly evolved in six months with their business. Birkle recommends Liveto because their customer service is very humane in the middle of all this technology.
